Glimpses of India: A short documentary on the War Dance of the Sumi Nagas of the Nagaland. Sumi War dance is one of the most important dances of Nagaland which was traditionally performed during important feasts and after the successful head-hunting expeditions. It is now one of the most representative dances of Nagaland and is performed during festivals, celebrations and ceremonial occasions. Each and every piece of the attire and ornaments worn by these Naga Warriors have a special meaning and significance which was traditionally earned through acts of bravery. This was recorded on 15 January 2016 at Dimapur during the inauguration of the 1st Passport Seva Kendra (PSK) in the State of Nagaland.
